What is the Watily MCP AI connector?
A secure bridge between your Watily account and AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT. Ask in plain language about your sales, orders, customers and campaigns and get answers from your real account data, and have products, coupons and WhatsApp campaigns prepared for your approval. MCP is the open standard these apps use to connect to systems.
How much does it cost?
It is an add-on at SAR 49 per month on the Basic and Growth plans, and it is included at no extra cost in Pro. Prices exclude VAT.
Can the AI do anything without my approval?
No. Any action that changes your data or messages customers, such as editing a product, creating a coupon or starting a campaign, is never executed straight away. It shows a preview of what will happen and nothing runs until you explicitly approve. The confirmation token is single-use and expires in 10 minutes.
What can I ask?
Sales summaries, orders, products and customers, campaign status and delivery stats, incoming conversations, loyalty points, tasks, low stock, pending invoices and more, depending on the modules in your plan and the permissions of the user who connected.
What can it prepare for me?
Edit a product, create a discount coupon, create a WhatsApp template, create an official WhatsApp broadcast (saved as a draft by default), start or pause a campaign, cancel an unpaid order and create a task for an employee. All with a preview and your approval.
Is my data safe? Who sees what?
You connect by signing in to Watily through OAuth and tapping Allow yourself; your password is never stored by any app. The connector only sees your own company, within your account permissions and plan, and every action is logged on the AI connectors page.
How do I disconnect?
On the AI connectors page in your Watily dashboard you can see every active connection and revoke any of them in one tap. Access also stops automatically if the account is disabled, the subscription ends or the add-on is removed.
Which apps are supported?
Claude (web and desktop), ChatGPT through developer mode connectors, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. You paste the server address once.
Do I need a Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
Yes, the connector runs inside the AI app you already have an account with, and custom connector availability depends on your plan with that provider. Watily does not charge for the AI usage itself.
Can I see what the AI did?
Yes. Every executed action appears in the activity log with the tool name, the app and the time.
