Choose your plan and start

Salla App Store WhatsApp apps start very low — some under 20 SAR/month — offer 7 to 30-day trials and focus on order alerts and cart recovery. Many link your number via QR code; some support the official API. Watily starts at 49 SAR, offers QR connect for a quick start and the official API for campaigns, adds a team inbox, ZATCA invoicing, booking and loyalty, and works with Zid. If you only need notifications, a Salla app is enough; if you need a full stack, Watily fits better.

How WhatsApp apps on the Salla App Store are priced

On 24 September 2026 we reviewed a sample of WhatsApp app listings on the Salla App Store. All prices are in SAR through Salla billing and exclude VAT, and they vary widely: 'Rasel WhatsApp' shows 18 SAR/month, 'Smart WhatsApp Bot' has plans from 14 up to 199 SAR/month, 'Cartat WhatsApp Notifications' has plans at 99 and 149 SAR, 'ATMET Chat' starts at 49 SAR, 'Karam' at 119 SAR, and Javna's app at 95, 395 and 895 SAR.

These apps usually offer generous trials: seven days on Rasel, ATMET and Karam, 15 days on Cartat and 30 days on Smart WhatsApp Bot. On the other hand, their listings rarely explain how Meta fees are charged or how many staff are included, and some show limited-time discounted prices, so compare the real price after the offer and trial end.

Watily starts at 49 SAR/month for Basic, then 249 for Growth, 549 for Pro and 1,049 for Max, with a two-day trial on Growth and Pro. That is more than the cheapest notification apps, but it includes every system: WhatsApp API, store, ZATCA, booking and loyalty. Estimate Meta fees with the WhatsApp API cost calculator.

QR or the official API? The difference the price doesn't show

Several sampled apps link your number by scanning a QR code, such as Rasel WhatsApp and Cartat; Cartat says it has recently started supporting the official API. ATMET Chat offers both and says it is a Meta-approved tech provider for API connections. Each has its place: QR connect is faster to start and needs no commercial registration, and it suits conversations, bots and notifications at modest volume. The official API needs a commercial registration and unlocks approved templates, large campaigns and the official business badge with the lowest restriction risk as you scale, since bulk sending over QR raises the chance of the number being restricted.

Watily offers four ways to connect: QR for a quick start, the official Meta API, coexistence that keeps the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, or connection via a Facebook Business Portfolio — and you can start on QR and move to the official API when you need campaigns. It adds Meta-approved templates on the official connection, order, shipping and OTP alerts through Watily Notify, and abandoned-cart recovery. Meta fees are charged at Meta's official rate by message category. See WhatsApp Business on Watily.

Before installing any WhatsApp app from the Salla store, ask four questions: does it link the number via QR or the official API? Who pays Meta fees, and at what rate? How many staff can reply from the same account? And what happens to your number and templates if you cancel? Clear answers matter more than a few riyals' difference in the monthly price.

Fit for a Salla merchant: one app per job, or one platform?

On the Salla store you'll find one app for notifications, another for loyalty and a third for conversations, each with its own subscription; the loyalty app 'Wallet Plus', for example, starts at 200 SAR/month. That model is flexible when you need a single job done, but subscriptions and dashboards multiply as your store grows.

The Watily Salla app connects your store to one stack: a team inbox, chatbot, segmented campaigns, ZATCA invoicing, wallet loyalty cards and booking. If you also run a store on Zid, WooCommerce or Shopify, you can manage it from the same platform.

When a Salla app is the better choice — and how to switch

If your store is new and you only need order confirmations and abandoned-cart reminders at the lowest cost, a low-priced notifications app from the Salla store with a long trial may be enough. Apps such as Cartat also show a long review history on their listing, which is a useful signal when choosing.

When you need a team answering customers, larger campaigns over the official API, or ZATCA invoicing, loyalty and booking, moving to Watily makes sense: install the Watily app from the Salla store, disconnect the number from the previous app, connect it to Watily and complete verification; activation typically takes 24–72 hours. Then get templates approved by Meta and switch the old app off so customers don't receive duplicate messages.

Choose Watily if

  • You want to start on QR and move to the official API, with approved templates and larger campaigns, on the same platform.
  • You need a team inbox, larger campaigns and one stack instead of several apps.
  • You need ZATCA invoicing, loyalty cards and booking, or also run a Zid store.

Salla App Store WhatsApp apps may suit you better if

  • Your store is new and you only need order alerts and cart reminders at the lowest cost.
  • You want a long free trial (7 to 30 days) before paying.
  • You prefer an app with a long review history on the Salla store for one specific job.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest WhatsApp app on the Salla App Store?
In the sample we reviewed on 24 September 2026, Smart WhatsApp Bot's Start plan showed 14 SAR/month and Rasel WhatsApp 18 SAR/month, excluding VAT. Prices and offers change, so check each listing.
Are Salla WhatsApp apps official?
It depends on the app. Some link the number via QR code using regular WhatsApp, some support the official WhatsApp Business API, and some offer both. Check the listing before installing.
Does Watily have a Salla app?
Yes. Watily has a Salla app for order alerts, cart recovery and campaigns, with your number connected via QR or the official API, and a Zid app as well.
How do I move my WhatsApp number from a Salla app to Watily?
Yes. Your number stays the same, but it must first be disconnected from the WhatsApp API account at your current provider, then connected to your Watily account and re-verified. Activation typically takes 24–72 hours, and your message templates are re-submitted for Meta approval through the new account. Past chat history does not move automatically, so export what you need, including contacts, before switching. If the number was linked via QR, you can connect it to Watily via QR too and start right away; then switch off the previous app to avoid duplicate messages.
Do I need a separate app for loyalty or invoicing?
Not with Watily: wallet loyalty cards, ZATCA Phase 2 invoicing and booking are included in every plan. On the Salla store these functions usually come as separate apps with their own subscriptions.
